There are $1.8 million in funds, provided by the American Rescue Plan Act, available to support up to 300 businesses. Grants will be awarded to eligible applicants by lottery, with the first round at the end of March and the second at the end of April. Since 2020, City-initiated grant programs have disbursed $6.09 million in grants to support 499 San José small businesses owned by low- or moderate-income individuals, primarily from communities of color located within San José. |
